The academy runs both residential (hostel-based) and non-residential (day scholar) programs. Hostel students benefit from round-the-clock supervision, structured study hours, daily PT sessions and a school-like environment that keeps them focused year-round.

Admissions are open. Both boys and girls can apply. Scholarship support is available for meritorious and financially deserving students, including children from defence service families.

Defence Academy Admission Process — Step by Step

Getting your child admitted is simple. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you contact us to the day your child begins classes.

1

Fill the Admission Enquiry Form

Start by filling the short online enquiry form on this page, or call us directly at +91 8101313136. Share basic details — your child's name, current class, age and preferred course.

2

Counselling Session

Our academic counsellor will call you within 24 hours. This session is free and lasts 20–30 minutes. We understand your child's current level, goals and recommend the right course and mode (hostel / day scholar / online).

3

Scholarship / Assessment Test

All students take a short assessment test. This helps us understand where your child currently stands and identify gaps. It also determines eligibility for our merit-based scholarship program. The test is conducted online or at our campus.

4

Course Selection & Batch Allocation

Based on assessment results and counselling, the appropriate course and batch are recommended. You can also choose between regular and intensive batches depending on the time left before the exam.

5

Hostel Allocation (If Applicable)

Students opting for the residential program are allocated a hostel room. Separate facilities for boys and girls. Parents can visit the campus to inspect hostel arrangements before confirming.

6

Document Submission & Fee Payment

Submit the required documents (listed in Section 4) and complete the fee payment. Receipts are issued immediately. Instalment options are available for hostel students in certain cases.

8

Regular Parent Communication Begins

From day one, parents receive weekly progress updates via WhatsApp or phone call. Monthly PTM (Parent-Teacher Meetings) are held for hostel students. You are never out of the loop.

Why Parents Choose Young Star Defence Academy

Here are the reasons parents from across North India trust us with their children's futures — in their own words and from real experience.

👨‍🏫

Experienced, Subject-Specific Faculty

Our teachers are not generalists. Each faculty member specialises in their exam subject — Maths, English, GK, Science — and has years of experience coaching defence exam aspirants. The academy is led by Prashant Singh, whose guidance and teaching philosophy shape everything we do here.

🎯

Defence-Only Focus

Unlike general coaching centres, we only do defence entrance coaching. Every system, schedule and lesson here is aligned with AISSEE, RMS, RIMC or NDA outcomes.

📊

Regular Mock Tests & Performance Tracking

Weekly mock tests, monthly result analysis and individual progress reports ensure students and parents always know where they stand and what to improve.

📞

Transparent Parent Communication

No surprises. Parents receive weekly updates, monthly reports and are invited to PTMs every month. You can call us anytime — our doors remain open.

🏃

Physical Training That Matches Exam Standards

Defence exams require physical fitness. Our daily PT program is planned to meet the medical fitness benchmarks of Sainik Schools, RMS and RIMC — not just classroom success.

🌟

Personality Development, Not Just Marks

Sainik Schools and military institutions look for complete personalities. Our programme includes spoken English, confidence-building, group discussions and leadership activities alongside academics.

📍

Students from Across India

Our hostel program draws students from UP, Punjab, Haryana, HP, Rajasthan and Jammu — creating a competitive peer group that pushes every student to work harder.

🏅

Track Record of Selections

We have helped students gain admission to Sainik Schools, RMS and RIMC. These results reflect the efforts of both our students and our dedicated faculty.

Section 8

Student Life at Young Star Defence Academy

What does a typical week look like for a student here? This section gives you an honest picture of the academic and non-academic experience at the academy.

Academic Life

  • Subject-wise classes for Maths, English, GK, Science and Language as applicable to each exam. See our full Sainik School coaching program for a detailed syllabus breakdown.

Beyond Academics

  • Daily morning PT — running, warm-up drills, obstacle exercises and yoga to build endurance.

  • Personality development workshops covering communication, discipline, posture and presentation.
  • Leadership activities — group tasks, debate, and project-based activities that Sainik School interviewers look for.
  • Celebration of national occasions — Republic Day, Independence Day and other national events are celebrated with full discipline and pride.
  • Weekend revision and parent call schedule ensures balance between hard work and family connection.

Is physical training included in the programme?

Is there a demo class or trial session available before admission?

Yes. After the initial counselling session, students can attend a demo class at no extra charge. This helps students and parents experience the teaching quality and classroom environment before making a final decision.

Can I visit the campus before confirming admission?

Absolutely, and we strongly encourage it. A campus visit helps you see the classrooms, hostel facilities, mess, PT grounds and meet the faculty in person. Call us at +91 8101313136 to schedule your campus visit — no appointment is needed on working days.
