Young Star Defence Academy offers expert coaching for AISSEE, RMS CET, RIMC entrance and NDA — with a fully residential hostel program designed to prepare your child for a career in the armed forces.
Young Star Defence Academy is a dedicated coaching institute helping students aged 9 to 17 prepare for some of India's most competitive defence school entrance exams — including the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE), Rashtriya Military School (RMS), Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), and the NDA written examination.
Every year, thousands of parents across Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Jammu trust this academy to shape their child's future. Whether your child dreams of wearing an officer's uniform or simply wants to grow in a disciplined, academically strong environment — this is a place built for that purpose.
The academy runs both residential (hostel-based) and non-residential (day scholar) programs. Hostel students benefit from round-the-clock supervision, structured study hours, daily PT sessions and a school-like environment that keeps them focused year-round.
Admissions are open. Both boys and girls can apply. Scholarship support is available for meritorious and financially deserving students, including children from defence service families.
Courses specifically designed for AISSEE (Class 6 & 9), RMS CET, RIMC entrance and NDA Foundation — not generic coaching.
Separate hostels for boys and girls with 24/7 warden supervision, CCTV coverage, hygienic meals and medical support.
Merit-based scholarships and fee concessions available for bright students and children of defence personnel.
Students from UP, Punjab, Haryana, HP, Rajasthan, Jammu and other states are enrolled. Hostel facility makes this possible.
Students who cannot relocate can join our online program — live classes, recordings and personalised doubt support included.
Each course at Young Star Defence Academy is purpose-built for a specific entrance exam. Here is what is currently available for admission.
This is the most popular course at the academy. The AISSEE Class 6 syllabus requires strong foundations in Maths and Language, which our faculty develops through daily practice and weekly mock tests. If your child is currently in Class 5, read our detailed guide on Sainik School preparation for Class 5.
Class 9 entry into Sainik Schools is highly competitive. Our programme covers the complete NCERT syllabus for Classes 7–8 with intensive revision and full-length mock tests. You can also practise with our AISSEE mock tests to gauge your child's readiness.
RMS CET is conducted by the Ministry of Defence. Our RMS coaching program covers the written exam, Viva, and physical standards in a single integrated curriculum.
RIMC Dehradun is among India's most prestigious junior military schools. Our RIMC coaching program is one of the most focused and result-oriented in the region.
NDA Foundation courses begin from Class 11. Early preparation gives students a decisive edge in the NDA written exam and subsequent SSB interviews.
Our online program is ideal for students in remote areas or those who wish to prepare alongside regular school. The quality of content and teaching is identical to the offline batch.
Getting your child admitted is simple. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you contact us to the day your child begins classes.
Start by filling the short online enquiry form on this page, or call us directly at +91 8101313136. Share basic details — your child's name, current class, age and preferred course.
Our academic counsellor will call you within 24 hours. This session is free and lasts 20–30 minutes. We understand your child's current level, goals and recommend the right course and mode (hostel / day scholar / online).
All students take a short assessment test. This helps us understand where your child currently stands and identify gaps. It also determines eligibility for our merit-based scholarship program. The test is conducted online or at our campus.
Based on assessment results and counselling, the appropriate course and batch are recommended. You can also choose between regular and intensive batches depending on the time left before the exam.
Students opting for the residential program are allocated a hostel room. Separate facilities for boys and girls. Parents can visit the campus to inspect hostel arrangements before confirming.
Submit the required documents (listed in Section 4) and complete the fee payment. Receipts are issued immediately. Instalment options are available for hostel students in certain cases.
Your child receives the admission kit — timetable, study materials, uniform details and hostel guidelines. An orientation session is held for both students and parents before the first day of class.
From day one, parents receive weekly progress updates via WhatsApp or phone call. Monthly PTM (Parent-Teacher Meetings) are held for hostel students. You are never out of the loop.
Check the eligibility criteria below before applying. For a detailed breakdown of Sainik School eligibility requirements, see our Sainik School eligibility guide. If you are unsure, call us — our team will guide you within minutes.

For many parents, sending their child to a hostel is a major decision. Here is a transparent look at what life in our residential program looks like — because you deserve to know everything before you decide.
Entirely separate residential blocks with dedicated entry, wardens and supervision for boys and girls.
All corridors, common areas, entry/exit points and surrounding premises are under continuous CCTV coverage.
Resident wardens — available day and night — ensure discipline, safety and student welfare at all times.
Morning study: 5:30–7:00 AM. Evening study: 6:00–9:00 PM. Study time is supervised and phones are restricted during these hours.
Three balanced meals daily prepared in a clean kitchen. Menu is planned to support physical activity and mental alertness.
Morning PT is mandatory for hostel students — running, drills, obstacle training and yoga to build the stamina required for defence medical standards.
A first-aid room is maintained on campus. Nearby hospital tie-up for emergencies. Parents are immediately informed in case of any health concern.
Students are allowed to call parents at fixed times each day. This maintains family connection while protecting study focus.

Talent should never be limited by financial constraint. Our scholarship program is designed to make quality defence coaching accessible to every deserving student.
Students who score above the scholarship threshold in the admission assessment test receive a partial or full fee waiver. The higher the score, the greater the scholarship benefit.
Children of serving or retired armed forces personnel — Army, Navy, Air Force, CAPFs — receive a special fee concession as our way of honouring their family's service.
The scholarship test is conducted online or at our campus. It covers age-appropriate Maths, Language and GK questions. There is no registration fee for the test itself.
Students from economically weaker backgrounds may apply for financial assistance by providing relevant documentation. Cases are reviewed individually by the management.
Here are the reasons parents from across North India trust us with their children's futures — in their own words and from real experience.
Our teachers are not generalists. Each faculty member specialises in their exam subject — Maths, English, GK, Science — and has years of experience coaching defence exam aspirants. The academy is led by Prashant Singh, whose guidance and teaching philosophy shape everything we do here.
Unlike general coaching centres, we only do defence entrance coaching. Every system, schedule and lesson here is aligned with AISSEE, RMS, RIMC or NDA outcomes.
Weekly mock tests, monthly result analysis and individual progress reports ensure students and parents always know where they stand and what to improve.
No surprises. Parents receive weekly updates, monthly reports and are invited to PTMs every month. You can call us anytime — our doors remain open.
Defence exams require physical fitness. Our daily PT program is planned to meet the medical fitness benchmarks of Sainik Schools, RMS and RIMC — not just classroom success.
Sainik Schools and military institutions look for complete personalities. Our programme includes spoken English, confidence-building, group discussions and leadership activities alongside academics.
Our hostel program draws students from UP, Punjab, Haryana, HP, Rajasthan and Jammu — creating a competitive peer group that pushes every student to work harder.
We have helped students gain admission to Sainik Schools, RMS and RIMC. These results reflect the efforts of both our students and our dedicated faculty.
