These Terms & Conditions apply to all students, parents, guardians, visitors, and users of the website youngstardefenceacademy.com and all coaching services, digital resources, study materials, and programmes offered by the Academy, whether delivered in person at our centres in Amritsar, Chandigarh, and Kapurthala, or online through digital platforms.
Young Star Defence Academy reserves the right to update, revise, or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the website or services following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
1. Effective Date
These Terms & Conditions are effective as of 1st January 2024 and remain in force until revised or withdrawn by Young Star Defence Academy. The most current version of this document will always be available on this page.

3. Eligibility and Enrolment
Enrolment at Young Star Defence Academy is open to students who meet the age and eligibility criteria for the defence entrance examinations they are preparing for, as prescribed by the respective examination boards and governing authorities.
3.1 Accurate Information
Students and parents/guardians are required to furnish accurate, truthful, and complete information at the time of enquiry, application, and enrolment. Any misrepresentation, falsification, or omission of material facts — including age, prior academic record, medical conditions relevant to learning, or identity documents — shall be grounds for immediate cancellation of enrolment without refund.
3.2 Consent for Minors
As the majority of our students are minors, enrolment requires the express written or digital consent of a parent or legal guardian. By submitting an admission form or making a fee payment on behalf of a minor, the parent/guardian confirms that they have reviewed and agreed to these Terms & Conditions on the student’s behalf, and accept full responsibility for ensuring the student’s compliance with all Academy policies.
3.3 Right to Reject Applications
Young Star Defence Academy reserves the absolute right to reject, defer, or cancel any application or enrolment request without being obligated to provide reasons. This right extends to situations involving incomplete documentation, ineligibility, batch unavailability, or any other operational or academic consideration.
4. Admission Policy
4.1 Admission Procedure
Admission to Young Star Defence Academy is processed through an enquiry submission, followed by a counselling session with the Academy’s academic team. Parents and students are guided on the appropriate batch, programme level, and study plan based on the target examination and the student’s current academic standing.
4.2 Document Verification
Students must submit valid supporting documents as required by the Academy, which may include birth certificate or age proof, recent school report cards or mark sheets, passport-size photographs, and a parent/guardian identity document. The Academy reserves the right to verify the authenticity of all submitted documents and to reject applications where documents are found to be forged, incomplete, or inconsistent.
4.3 Batch Allocation
Batch allocation is at the sole discretion of the Academy and is determined based on the student’s target examination, academic level, programme type (classroom, online, or hybrid), and available capacity. The Academy will endeavour to place students in the most suitable batch; however, specific batch preferences cannot always be guaranteed.
4.4 Admission Confirmation
Admission is confirmed only upon receipt of the prescribed admission fee and execution of the enrolment form. Mere submission of an application or payment of a registration fee does not guarantee admission. A confirmation receipt or enrolment confirmation communication from the Academy shall serve as the official acknowledgment of admission.
5. Course Access and Participation
5.1 Classroom Programmes
Students enrolled in classroom programmes at any of our centres in Amritsar, Chandigarh, or Kapurthala are expected to attend all scheduled sessions. Physical study materials will be provided as per the programme structure. Students must bring their materials, maintain decorum, and follow all centre-level instructions issued by faculty and management.
5.2 Online Classes
Students enrolled in online programmes will be provided access to live virtual sessions conducted via a designated digital platform. Access credentials are personal and non-transferable. Students are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection, a compatible device, and a distraction-free environment for attending online classes.
5.3 Hybrid Programmes
Students enrolled in hybrid programmes participate in a combination of in-person classroom sessions and online lectures or recorded content. The schedule, split, and format of the hybrid programme will be communicated at the time of enrolment and may be revised by the Academy based on operational requirements.
5.4 Attendance Expectations
Regular attendance is strongly encouraged and is considered directly linked to examination performance outcomes. The Academy does not guarantee compensatory sessions for classes missed due to a student’s personal absence unless otherwise stated in the specific programme terms. Minimum attendance requirements, if applicable to a programme, will be communicated at the time of enrolment.
5.5 Student Responsibilities
Students are expected to complete assigned exercises, practice papers, and revision tasks within the timelines specified by faculty. Students and parents/guardians are encouraged to communicate proactively with the Academic team regarding any learning difficulties, scheduling conflicts, or other concerns.
6. Student Code of Conduct
Young Star Defence Academy prepares students for India’s premier military and defence institutions, and accordingly holds its students to the highest standards of discipline, integrity, and respectful behaviour.
- Respectful Behaviour: All students must treat faculty, staff, fellow students, and Academy visitors with courtesy and respect at all times, both in person and in online environments.
- No Misconduct: Any form of bullying, harassment, intimidation, discrimination, or physical misconduct is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disciplinary action, including expulsion.
- No Disruption: Students must not disrupt classroom sessions, online lectures, or mock tests. Repeated disruption after warnings will result in suspension from the programme.
- No Abusive Language: Use of abusive, offensive, or inappropriate language — whether verbal, written, or in digital communication — is not tolerated under any circumstances.
- No Unauthorised Activities: Students must not engage in activities within Academy premises or on Academy digital platforms that are not authorised by the Academy, including but not limited to solicitation, commercial activity, or the promotion of external coaching services.
The Academy reserves the right to take disciplinary action, including suspension, expulsion, or involvement of appropriate authorities, in cases of serious misconduct. Fees paid will not be refunded in cases of disciplinary dismissal.
7. Fees and Payments
7.1 Fee Payment Requirements
All fees must be paid in full or as per the instalment schedule agreed at the time of enrolment. Enrolment is not considered complete until the prescribed fees have been received and acknowledged by the Academy.
7.2 Payment Schedule
Where an instalment-based payment schedule is offered, students and parents/guardians must adhere to the agreed payment dates. The Academy will communicate the applicable instalment schedule in writing at the time of admission confirmation.
7.3 Accepted Payment Methods
Young Star Defence Academy accepts payments via bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS), UPI, cheque, demand draft, cash (at Academy centres), and online payment gateways as made available on the website. All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR).
7.4 Taxes and Applicable Charges
All fees are quoted inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise specified. Any government-levied taxes, statutory charges, or payment gateway processing fees that may become applicable shall be borne by the student or parent/guardian.
7.5 Late Payment Consequences
Failure to make timely payment as per the agreed schedule may result in temporary suspension of access to classes, study materials, and digital resources until dues are cleared. The Academy reserves the right to deny further participation to students with outstanding fee balances and to recover dues through appropriate means.
8. Refund and Cancellation Policy
8.1 Registration Fee
Any registration or application processing fee collected at the time of enquiry or form submission is strictly non-refundable, irrespective of whether admission is granted or declined.
8.2 Admission Fee and Course Fees
Once admission is confirmed and the enrolment process is complete, the admission fee and course fees paid are non-refundable except under the specific circumstances described below. The Academy does not offer pro-rated refunds for partial attendance or partial utilisation of services.
8.3 Cancellation Requests
Requests for cancellation of enrolment must be submitted in writing to the Academy at the email address specified in the Contact Information section of these Terms. All cancellation requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The Academy will not entertain verbal cancellation requests.
8.4 Non-Refundable Situations
No refund shall be applicable in the following circumstances:
- Student’s voluntary withdrawal after admission confirmation and commencement of classes.
- Disciplinary dismissal or expulsion from the programme.
- Non-attendance or irregular attendance without prior written notice.
- Change of mind, competing commitments, or relocation after enrolment.
- Failure of the student to meet attendance or participation requirements.
- Purchase of study materials, once materials have been dispatched or accessed.
8.5 Exceptional Circumstances
In cases involving documented medical emergencies, serious illness, or other verifiable extraordinary circumstances where a student is unable to continue the programme, the Academy may, at its sole discretion, offer a partial refund, a credit adjustment toward a future batch, or alternative arrangements. Such requests must be supported by relevant documentation and submitted within 15 days of the event giving rise to the request. The Academy’s decision in such matters shall be final.
9. Online Payment Terms
9.1 Payment Gateway Usage
Payments made through the online payment gateway on the Academy’s website are processed by third-party payment service providers. Young Star Defence Academy does not store or have access to your complete card or banking credentials. You are advised to review the terms and privacy policy of the respective payment gateway provider.
9.2 Failed Transactions
In the event of a failed transaction, the amount, if debited from your account, will typically be refunded to the original payment source by your bank within 5–10 working days, subject to the policies of your bank or payment provider. The Academy bears no liability for delays caused by banking or payment infrastructure.
9.3 Duplicate Payments
If a duplicate payment is made due to a technical error, the student or parent/guardian should notify the Academy promptly with transaction references and supporting screenshots. Verified duplicate payments will be refunded to the original payment source within 7–10 working days after investigation.
9.4 Chargebacks
Initiating an unjustified chargeback or payment reversal with your bank or card provider for a legitimate transaction is a breach of these Terms. The Academy reserves the right to suspend access to services and pursue recovery of amounts subject to unjustified chargebacks.
9.5 Refund Processing Timelines
Where a refund is approved by the Academy under the applicable policy, it will be processed within 15–20 working days from the date of approval. Refunds will be credited to the original payment source unless an alternative arrangement is mutually agreed in writing.
10. Study Material and Intellectual Property Rights
10.1 Ownership of Content
All study materials, printed books, workbooks, practice papers, test series, video lectures, notes, syllabi, course outlines, and digital content produced or curated by Young Star Defence Academy are the exclusive intellectual property of the Academy. These materials are made available to enrolled students solely for personal, non-commercial educational use during the period of their enrolment.
10.2 Copyright Protection

Students and parents/guardians must not photocopy, scan, digitise, or reproduce Academy study materials in any format, whether for personal archiving, sharing with others, or any other purpose beyond direct personal study use during the enrolment period.
10.4 Restrictions on Redistribution
Study materials, digital content, and login credentials must not be shared with, transferred to, or accessed by any individual outside the enrolled student. Sharing Academy content in any digital group, forum, social media platform, or messaging application — whether free or paid — is a serious violation of these Terms and may result in legal action.
10.5 Restrictions on Commercial Use
No study material, course content, or any resource of Young Star Defence Academy may be used for any commercial purpose, including resale, republication, incorporation into competing coaching content, or commercial distribution, under any circumstances.
11. Online Classes and Digital Resources
11.1 Login Credentials
Enrolled students will be provided with unique login credentials to access the Academy’s online learning portal or designated virtual class platform. These credentials are strictly personal, non-transferable, and must not be shared with any third party.
11.2 Account Security
Students and parents/guardians are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials. Any unauthorised access or suspicious activity on the account must be reported to the Academy immediately. The Academy shall not be liable for any loss or disruption arising from a student’s failure to secure their login information.
11.3 Recording Restrictions
Students are strictly prohibited from recording live online sessions, screen-recording video lectures, or capturing screenshots of class content, without express written permission from the Academy. Recording of online classes — whether for personal use or otherwise — is a violation of these Terms and of the intellectual property rights of the Academy and its faculty.
11.4 Screen-Sharing Restrictions
Students must not share their screen, stream class content, or mirror their device during online sessions to any person other than the enrolled student in the designated learning space.
11.5 Unauthorised Distribution
Any distribution, upload, or sharing of digital content from the Academy’s portal — including recorded lectures, PDFs, test papers, or notes — to any external party, platform, or application is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate cancellation of enrolment and may attract legal consequences under applicable intellectual property and information technology laws of India.
12. Examination and Result Disclaimer
Young Star Defence Academy is committed to providing high-quality coaching and academic preparation for defence entrance examinations including AISSEE (Sainik Schools), RIMC, RMS, NDA Foundation, and other related examinations. However, admission to any school, college, or institution — including but not limited to Sainik Schools, Rashtriya Military Schools, Rashtriya Indian Military College, or the National Defence Academy — cannot be guaranteed by the Academy under any circumstances.
Selection outcomes depend entirely on the individual student’s academic performance, physical fitness, medical eligibility, personality assessment scores, interview performance, category-wise competition levels, availability of seats, and the official admission procedures and decisions of the respective examining and admitting authorities. The Academy’s role is that of a coaching and preparatory institution; it has no influence over, or involvement in, the final selection decisions of any government or defence institution.
Past results, success rates, or student achievements featured on the Academy’s website or marketing materials are for informational purposes only and do not constitute a guarantee of similar outcomes for any current or future student. Individual results will vary based on effort, aptitude, consistency, and other factors beyond the Academy’s control.

13.2 Verification Process
Students or parents/guardians applying for a scholarship or fee concession must submit the required supporting documentation — such as income certificates, academic records, or category certificates — for verification. The Academy reserves the right to verify the authenticity of all submitted documents and to reject or revoke a scholarship where information is found to be inaccurate or misleading.
13.3 Academy Rights Regarding Scholarships
Scholarship continuity is not guaranteed and is subject to the student maintaining the attendance, conduct, and academic performance standards prescribed by the Academy. The Academy reserves the right to revise, suspend, or discontinue any scholarship scheme at any time. Scholarships and discounts are not transferable and cannot be encashed or applied retroactively to previous fee payments.
