If your child dreams of wearing that olive-green uniform, the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) is the first big step — and mock tests are the best way to get there confidently.

Conducted every year by NTA (National Testing Agency), AISSEE is the gateway to 33 Sainik Schools across India. For Class 6, the paper has 125 questions across Maths, GK, Language & Intelligence — 150 minutes, 300 marks total. For Class 9, it's 150 questions across 5 subjects — 180 minutes, 400 marks. And the best part? There is no negative marking, so every question is worth attempting.

Our free mock tests are built on the exact NTA pattern so your child gets a real feel of the exam before the big day. For expert guidance alongside practice, check out our Sainik School Coaching programme — designed to help students crack AISSEE in their first attempt.

Frequently Asked Questions
AISSEE Class 6 has 125 questions in total — 50 from Mathematics, and 25 each from General Knowledge, Intelligence, and Language. You get 150 minutes to attempt all of them, which works out to roughly 72 seconds per question. Time management is crucial!
Great news — there is absolutely no negative marking in AISSEE 2026, for both Class 6 and Class 9. So even if your child is unsure about an answer, it's always better to make an educated guess rather than leave it blank. Attempt everything!
Mathematics is the highest-scoring subject — each Maths question carries 3 marks. GK, Intelligence, and Language questions carry 2 marks each. This means Maths alone accounts for 150 of the 300 total marks, so strong Maths preparation can make a big difference to your child's final rank.
A student needs to score at least 25% in each individual subject and 40% overall to be considered for the merit list. The actual admission cutoff varies by Sainik School — top schools often require 60% or more. SC/ST candidates are admitted on inter-se merit without a fixed minimum cutoff.
We'd recommend at least 15–20 full-length mock tests in the 3 months before the exam. But the number matters less than what you do after each test — always sit down and review every wrong answer. That's where the real learning happens. Mix full-length tests with focused subject-wise practice.
AISSEE 2026 was conducted on January 18, 2026. AISSEE 2027 is expected around the same time next year. The official notification usually comes out in October — keep an eye on the NTA Sainik School official website for the latest updates.
